Duo starting fresh on Red

Hi guys, my brother and I want to start playing on red. The raid scene on blue seems so...meh. Anyway, what do you suggest as classes?

I mained an enchanter back in 2010 here, and my brother can play anything. I was thinking of shaman/monk combo (tried and tested duo).

We won't have any plat or gear to start, but that's what makes it fun right? What do you all think.

Really excited to play. Going to make my toon tonight after work.

Oh, and are there any guilds willing to take in 2 lowbies? Thanks!

PvE wise enc/clr can't be beat imo. Mnk/Shm very solid and my personal favorite. I don't like the stress of dealing with charm pets all the time.

Far as PvP goes I'm not the best person to ask but I would guess monk/shm would be pretty legit. Enc/Clr not as much just cause charm can be pelled then you have very little damage output.

9pm-1am pacific usually. I play more often than he does, so I will most likely make two toons. One to play with him, and one when he can't log on.

Probably a shaman and an enchanter. I think he will do monk and necro (for when I'm not on).

Monk, shaman, enchanter, necro is a solid class set up for 2 people.

Makes for a good reminder to get your exemptions set up if you're at the same IP, takes a while I hear.

MNK/SHM always a decent duo.

I've found that druid / mage works oddly well for leveling and at the end you have some decent farming and utility to make other characters.

yeah monk/shm is the most versatile combo. I'd argue ench/shm is best for item camps when they hit 60 though.

Someone mentioned dru/mage i've always found that combo oddly effective as well.

Dude, go ikky shm and monk. Or even warrior, sk, or necro. Either way, shaman mixed with any class its pretty pwnage. Plus ikkys are best class in game. Minus xp penalty. But with high price comes high reward :) . But yea, I just started shm, got him to 38, been having a blast, and don't worry about not having gear, its not very important until around the levels that decent gear starts to drop.

Roll into kurns and you can just farm that chef, or whgatever that named mob is, thatd drops the ihb mace with wis+int 5 - 5 I think? But decent stats, good 4 monk too. Human monks are cool too, if you really don't mind being hated by the whole world, then you should definitely roll ikky. Plus, you don't find gankers.twinks and greifers constantly trying to , like, ever. And man, in crushbone, the ammount of twink epic rogues is disgusting lol.
