I can't seem to figure this out. For most of my career I have been using 1HB + 1HB with success, most of my time has been solo and this has served me very well. I won what I think is a nice 2HB yesterday in Seb (http://wiki.project1999.com/Imbued_Fighters_Staff) and I am in groups a lot more...
So when do I use my 1HB + 1HB and when to use my 2HB?
2HB
Imbued Fighters Staff (http://wiki.project1999.com/Imbued_Fighters_Staff)
1HB
Adamantite Club (http://wiki.project1999.com/Adamantite_Club)
Stave of Shielding (http://wiki.project1999.com/Stave_of_Shielding)

If you have epic, ditch the club.
I'd only use 2h if tanking just to lower damage taken, it's not going to out damage fist/SoS after 40ish or so.

When you want to min max dps, look at this chart (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110823).
So when do I use my 1HB + 1HB and when to use my 2HB?
When you want to use 2HB, use IFS.
When you want to use 1HB + 1HB, use the addy club and sos.

2 handers are great for mobs with a damage shield, or when tanking to avoid more ripostes, however are not as good at aggro generation besides t-staff procs.
1 handers are great for pushing mobs, most important with gating or healing mobs. Since you have addam club, it will be best for when you're tanking for groups for the proc aggro.

Anyone know how this will change come Velious and the additional bonus damage for two handed weapons?

This doesn't happen until effectively the Luclin pre-patch, but 2hb is granted higher dmg bonus 50+. That coupled with triple attack will be massive damage. Gotta parse it out to see what wins out though.
