Request For Eunomia to be the new head GM of red (poll included)

I think we have all had enough of Sirkens bad decisions and inconsistent rulings. With this latest round of suspensions being handed out for saying the word "faggot" or cursing at someone in tells, Suspending for accusations against a certain person without any real investigation into the matter before he bans/suspends first then ask questions later, Randomly changing a bunch of peoples names 4 years into the server then stopping randomly as well (have seen some pretty crazy names lately), Willingly changing a characters name then deciding not to do it for others (Colgate, Crop, etc etc), suspending one person for bind camping and letting another go, suspending one person for using a word and banning another for using the same language.

Every time I've ever had a conversation with Eunomia he/she (not sure cause their name is pretty ambiguous) has been attentive, fair, and quick to respond with a clear dedication to being as consistent as possible. I understand the rules are the rules but how many times have the rules changed, or selective enforcement was made of said rules? Maybe it's time for a lead GM change and give Eunomia the reigns.



p.s this isint a person attack against sirken. He isint a bad dude or anything but I don't think he should be the lead GM when there are clearly better candidates. Would also be nice if you guys don't censor this thread within three minutes of its posting because this is ment for civil discussion and not mud flinging.

Sirken most likely just give you the reason and date suspension is listed. If you try and politely speak with Eunomia then it might do you some good depending on the circumstances of your suspension.

It's tagged sirken because it was Sirken who suspended you. I learned recently that GM's can't undo or discuss another GM's decision. Eunomia was looking into my suspension intill she found out sirken did it and yall can guess how that went.

I think that some people need to take a step back and realize this is a game. Thus saying that the whole point of playing a game is to have fun. If certain GM's start to abuse their powers and ruin the fun for some people then there is a problem with that. I dont advocate losing any GM on this server considering the severe lack of GMs that we have, but I do propose that some of the Development team take a look into the actions of Sirken. I watched my guilde get banned from ooc for 180 days for saying he was going to delete his own character. He even got suspended for saying that but when Sirken found out he was talking about himself he unsuspended his account but didn't lift the ooc ban. In my honest opinion it looks like there is a severe lack of looking into these actions. Pride falls before the fallen. If you make a mistake, own up to it. Afterall, it is just a game. Actions like these are just going to lower the population not encourage the growth of the server.

well i find it funny when were looking at changing a gm and this thread is made by a holo member..for almost a year i have found sirken to be siding with holo in almost every decision he makes even though he says 1 min holo ruining the server than the next posting on blue forums for people to join red and join holo. derubel was bitched at by rogean for making a post and an announcement for even suggesting people leave blue to go to red. as far as i can see most gms are a joke i say lets give another 1 a shot and see how it plays out.

Personally it brings a classic feel to know one can get banned for 7 or so days for being a bit too billigerent yet I would like that bar to be raised by the staff of P99 rather than lowered. Not to mention I wouldn't want to see anyone permabanned for profanity or insults in any way even if directed at a staff member, I don't know what to propose in a ruling, what exactly would be fair, say 7 days for common occurences between players (Know your audience!) and a month-3months for those directed at a staff member. We all can have our bad days and I think all of yall should just apologize to one another and accept those apologies.

Although I believe Eunomia to be the most capable GM to lead any server personally, I really hope she doesn't go that route. She is a master of her trade in handling what she does and it would leave a massive hole in the team if she were to move over to the suggested position. All in all, I'd say if she wanted it, let her have it, but I really hope she doesn't. Who knows what kind of person they would put in her place if she needed to be relieved.

Eunomia is a good gm for blue issues but I'm not really sure shes interested in pvp, sirken seems a good candidate for Red gm and if you want to improve the server then do your own legwork, aka fraps people training and present your case with chat logs included.

Training a zone out isn't training, using a non monk is also questionable if the player has access to a monk ( Elemtal thread) Long story short I think sirken is fine for mediating lns and things like that, he's dedicated and fair to the players involved

Eunomia is what this server needs. She's consistent, professional, cordial, doesnt base anything on emotions, treats everyone equally ect. She's actually a prime example of what a GM should be.



I say fire sirken outright, because he isnt fit do do anything above the bottom of the food chain. He's one of the biggest detriments to this server. and 10 bucks says he bans me for speaking truthfully about him.
