Hello friends,

Recently a new progression server has been announced. There are polls right now as to what type of progression server it will be - with the likelihood, that it will be a progression server that will stop at a certain expansion (i.e. Luclin or PoP, etc.).

I am in the process of forming a guild for the new server. In the mean time I have rerolled some characters on P99 as a sort of run through and to strategize for when the new server releases.

I would like to create a guild that is competitive in raiding, fun in adventuring and helpful in the community.

Also, there are still places for some leadership positions. If you are interested please send me a message. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you all and happy hunting :)

Do Live progression servers still require you to be Gold paying customer?

And don't they drop defiant gear and other stuff making it extremely nonclassic?

Tankdan, defiant gear will not be around. They are going to scale everything back to the original content as much as possible. The only exception I have seen thus far is that the starting races may have the expanded class options (except for classes released with expansions, i.e. Beastlord with Luclin etc.) So then a Halfling may be able to start out as a ranger or paladin let's say but a wood elf could not be a beastlord until Luclin became available.

As far as I can tell, items will even be available until a certain period like manastones, rubicite, etc. and pre-nerfed items. Also, tradeskill recipes are supposed to be content relevant as well.

I would not count on much from Daybroke Games, or whatever the holding company now is called. This thing exists to milk whatever money is left, and to sell of the assets. I just would not put much stock in anything that requires any sort of capital investment on their end. And a new server = a capital investment.

The Harkonnens own the franchise now. Russian Harkonnens. And they will squeeeeeze it.

edit: not being negative about forming a prog server guild btw, if you want madness, hey, and who doesn't, jump the hell in, right? My point only was, not sure what to "count on" regarding this company going forward.
