Posts stuck in moderation queue

I hope this is in the right forum.

I'm not really able to participate in forum discussion because my posts get stuck waiting for moderator approval. It's been 24 hours since I posted a couple posts, and their relevancy to the discussion has long since passed.

This thread itself may not need approval as long as a moderator sees it and helps me out getting my posts approved. I would like to participate in forum discussion.

At worst they were probably only in queue for 12 hours. On days I'm not working I typically only approve posts twice a day (morning and night). But at any rate the queue is clear now.

You're right, it was less than 24 hours. I swore I posted them yesterday. At any rate, thanks.

Just out of curiosity, is there a minimum number of posts to remove the moderator approval? Or is it permanent? Forgive my ignorance but I cannot seem to find a sticky about it anywhere.
