Though I was red on live I joined blue99 due to pop at first. After experiencing the raid scene I bailed to red. I have seriously never even considered joining holo so I just don't get it.

It's not too hard to understand, really. There are a lot of blue-style players in Holo that "put up" with limited PvP for pixel gains they'll never see on blue because of the convoluted BS that goes on there. They have a better chance of seeing high-end pixels on red than they ever would on blue.

Lots of people don't have the discipline to keep up the raiding for months with 90%+ RA and will berg out and quit. Then join your guild and berg out too. Gotta play the long game.

Nothing stopping anyone not locked into a hardcore raid schedule for just farming up plat to be ready for the gem auction wars in Velious. How much you think a flawless diamond etc is gonna go for on the market? We don't (and won't) have 2k+ players like Live on many servers farming velks 24-7 for all the crushed/flawed ones either. Them shits is rare to the point I think you might as well be farming 3 stave of shieldings per armor piece.

Every item went to players who needed it. literally the only items left were quest items that had no value on their own that were saved for until they could be used to complete a quest. The rez staff was a sole exception because it has no use on it's own, and was being held for Velious to allow us to get to PoM. Thanks.
