Greetings and salutations,
I am new to the server and looking for a friendly guild or group of people looking to share an adventure. I have played EQ since launch with brief breaks here and there. I played on Fippy for almost 2 years and also ran a progression guild on the test server called Return to Glory. Looking to find friends or some people to hang with around with. I just got everything working and haven't even created a character in game yet. Was thinking druid or necro as their solo abilities could get me going pretty easy without being too gear dependant. At any rate, glad to be here and see you in game.

Welcome to the server, also your original character's name is probably one of the worst I've ever heard of

Awe, thank you for the wonderful words. When I started on Fippy my first son was about to be born. Hence the name.

In that case it's appropriate (though not for the server naming policy I would imagine lol)

What are the newbie friendly guilds that are still around? The forum page is a little out of date. Looking for a more casual grouping guild that could dabble in raiding I suppose. If anyone has any ideas, please post them.

I personally recommend just get into game and get leveling. Along the way you will encounter various guilds if you are grouping, and get to see what some of their members are about. I would be willing to bet by level 20-30 you might find what you are looking for.
New guilds are popping up all the time, especially lower level ones.
Good luck!
