How mq'able is the raincaller quest?

How mq'able is the raincaller quest? Do you have to be a ranger to do the quest? Can I camp the mermaid on My druid? Or does my ranger have to loot both the mermaid and the gorilla's in CT? What about the final turn in, is it mq'able there? Aka can I give my ranger the trueshot longbow, 3k gold, and treant heart to turn in after my druid turns in the Farie portion?

Can I use my Druid to do any of this? ...

My druid does the whole quest quite often from start to end.

No need to involve your ranger, druids do it much more easily. With the ports to Steamfont, Butcher, Feerott, ability to charm kill the mermaid with Pirahnas.

I'm pretty sure none of it can be MQ'd because it's an older quest that they didn't go back and rewrite when they did MQ code.

I had a MQ fail on one of the toupee portions. Probably best to loot everything on Ranger. My druid is KoS, but yeah if you have fairy faction intact on your druid, do it with that character instead.

Fairy part is doable KoS. You just have to be more clever than your average bear.

I tried to mq the golden mermaid part from my enchanter for my ranger once and it failed, I don't think the quest is mq'able.

The more you know.gif! And I'm a Half-Elf without hide. So I have to get even more clever with it. But fail-elves and Faillings can do Hide turnins just fine this way.

I would never waste string charges on Joleena.

Well you could always have someone else cast it on you. I don't really see you asking someone else to run to the far side of Lfay just for that, but that's about as clever as I can think of. I'm a rogue, so I don't trust anything but sneak for turn ins.

Fairy princess was not up when I strolled by last night. This is a problem. Does she have a ph? Does it work like brother z/hasten? Will the pH despawn after some time? Or do I have to kill the pH to get her to spawn? How do you do this without hurting the fairy faction?

Despawns at like 8 AM and 6 PM? There are two despawn/repop times per day, I forget them exactly. But you don't have to kill her and eat faction hits if you don't want to.
