Enchanters & Jewel Crafting

I just started working on Jewelcrafting and jesus it is expensive. I am 54 skill and already burned through 1,000pp. I am using the faction buff to get the best prices from the merchants and such. Whats the ket to skilling up with the least expenses? I see the crafting page to skill up etc tc but am curious, there MUST be a cheaper way of skilling up. Any suggestions?

Enchant your stuff before you craft and make sure you follow the progression exactly as it's posted.

Doing a skill up higher than the next step is a waste of money as you'll get far more failures.

something I was wondering about. I play on Red99, not sure if the prices are the same on Blue and Red for crafting (well except for MR gear onj Red I would imagine) but si there a website that kinda has a price guide for us crafters to sell our jewelry at?
