Hey guys, Marshal Sinquentiano Crystaleye, Iksar Warrior of Lanys T'Vyl here, back after many years trudging though every other MMO ever launched since this one... a couple of my friends turned me onto this project after my complaints about "the good old days" of grouping and making memories with great people. I am burnt out on the solo questing grindfrest, racing for gear for a weird psudo-antisocial end-game I could care less about... it's all about the journey for me.

I will start by saying that i rerolled my main, Sinquentiano, for nostalgia sake, but would like to have spells available for this new adventure (Also, Sinq had an epic adventure already... time for a new legend to step into the light)

My first choice is another Iksar Shaman, as I enjoyed one as an alt in the past, but I wouldn't mind a Dark Elf of some flavor either... Realistically though, what is the server a bit short on? There are quite a few classes I would like playing, so I want to know if there is a pressing need for anything.

Untill then, i'll be wandering the Field of Bone, Nickademus the Shaman by name, grinning like a fool as I remember my very first days in the Online world.

Cheers!

As a relatively new player to p1999 myself, I find that through the lower levels, tanks are in short supply.

I suspect this is because most new characters are twinks and alts of alts of alts for long time players, so plenty of shaman, enchanters, druids, wizards/mages/necros but a real lack of tanks.

On top of this, SKs and Paladins get rather larget XP penalties, so that probably adds to that.

Make what you like, the groups you find at lower levels generally have 1 or 2 veteran players that knows really how to play so can make any group comps work. As you level up, things will even out and all classes fall into their own roles.

Great to be here! Having a blast already! I think I am gonna roll with this shaman for now, atleast untill I can afford to kit a warrior out in Banded mail or the like.... Besides, I rather enjoy buffing random passersby.
