You can also do the totemic quests...plus cherry pick a couple item camps. Hill giants would be a very easy way of banking a few k to get rolling too.

Moral of the story here, if you "give away your stuff" because you don't plan on coming back, just don't do it. You will ALWAYS have that urge to play again, be it a week from now or a year from now.

Solo totemic quests. Can sit in Karnors for the no drop mail, I forget the name off hand, but some pcs have wisdom on it. Sebilite scale is name maybe? Asentioned above clearing of a sola grants a k or more of plat. Drops plus regular hq ore is 45ish plat per. Hill Giants.
