Can't decide if I want to make a wizard or a magician, halp pls?

Try both. I think most people will tell you Magician but try both out and see which class you like more. I dont have a mage but I'd imagine by level 8 you would get a good sense of how the two classes play.

my main is a wizard and its a blast to play imho ... unfortunately it is not a great class to get groups with ... and I really like leveling in groups ... so i spend alot of time looking for one(a group).

but its not awful I can solo pretty well(not really cause my gear is crap so i dont have enough mana for quadding much of anything)... but I think magicians can solo ok with their pets ... I see em clearing the yeti caves in dreadlands sometimes


thats my 2c ... its fun but be ready to solo ... alot ...
