I'm still using a PGT at level 23, which is still semi decent mitigation for tanking, but stinks for soloing due to the total lack of DPS.

Please suggest a few weapons I could realistically camp myself, or possibly even afford to purchase, either 1 or 2 handers, as I'll need some of each. Bare in mind, however, that this is my first character on this server, so I can't exactly afford the 12k or whatever it is for a Mithril 2Hander these days..

Thanks!

Sk should probably go for a 2 hander. Can buy a cheap one for like 200p

A dark reaver was being sold for 400pp the other day in EC

Since it's not completely realistic to expect a level 23 to have farmed 400+ plat if it's their first character, I'll recommend the cheaper alternative: Silvery Two Handed Axe. I once bought one for as little as 30p, but usually it'll run you 50-100ish. PGT sells for 100-150, so you'll be alright even if you're currently broke. The axe is 21/48 and comes with the added benefit of permanent serpent sight in case you're a human or something.

Dark Reaver, Gigantic Zweihander if you can find one and it's probably gonna run 500p, BBC if you don't mind losing agility but it's a cheap alternative, BI Bastard Sword is 20/47 so it's close to Dark Reaver's ratio and is generally cheaper...

If you beg in EC for two or three days I bet you'll get a Dark Reaver for free. Worked for me!

I think he should arm himself with a Grilled Chicken Burrito

I'd love both a Grilled Chicken Burrito, and a Dark Reaver! hehe

Thanks for all the replies, I should have enough saved for a DR, so I guess thats what I'm after.
