ui window missing

my ui window displaying health and mana is gone and have not been able to get it back, tried alt-y and everything else I can think of. any advice I must have this window

it may be outside the boundary of your screen, you can try running your cursor around the edges and see if it changes to the move icon and pull your window back in.

Or, try switching in and out of full screen mode: alt + enter. I believe lowering your resolution may help find it too.

Have you tried moving it to the center of your screen when you're in fullscreen before switching back to windowed?

In your everquest directory, there is a hidden ini file that starts with your name, ie Grelwin_1999.ini

Back it up somewhere, then delete it, close eq and relaunch.

That may hold your saved window positions.

You can alternatively press Alt+O and click the load UI button, and load the default UI and uncheck the keep your layout button to reset your UI without finding hidden ini files

I thought that one just had to do with your hot buttons etc, isn't the one he needs for layout going to be something like UI_playernamep1999.ini or something similar if he needs to reset his UI window positions?

i had this same issue a while back, and deleting ui file did nothing except reset my ui

had to do a fresh install just to get health window back
