Making an account

I am new To P99 and am really excited to play eq again. My question is as follows.

"it is no longer required to have an EQEmulator Forum Account to create Loginserver accounts (This can now be accomplished via Project 1999 forum accounts)"

I try to set up my account from the link in the guidebook and i cant go any further then the entering my phone number (i have done this). Why or what do i need to do so i can finally log into the game?

I am having the same issue. set up sms verification, entered the number then goes back to step 1. Then when I try to skip those steps up to ams verification it goes back to step 1.

Id recommend eqemulator account if you don't find a solution to this method.

alternately you can make an account at eqemulator.org

I figured it out! If you use the navigation side bar on the left you can skip to the step you need.
