Unable to Connect to Server

Hey guys & Gals,

I have tried multi times to connect to the server but am unable to connect. I get the error "unable to connect to server, check your network connection etc etc". To clarify I use my loginserver account to log in correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

correct, you use your login server account to play. check your install. chances are you missed a step with the server ini


to clarify,

check eqhosts.ini and verify this is entered:

[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998

I only have this in my file directory: eqhost.txt. Where would I have gotten the other file from? I extracted the project 1999 Version to my directory.

I just checked the Project1999 V32 zipped files and I am not finding the ini file

I noticed your file had a "s" on the end. Does that make a difference?

I still an unable to connect to server. It's acting like I have no internet connection.

open the eqhost.txt file

do you see this?

if not, put it in, save and try again

Yes I have that exact type in my file.

Still says the same thing.
