Wizard almost lvl 12?

Need to ask all the pro wizards, at lvl 12 what spell line up would you have in place. My 1st time playing a wizard. Thanks for all the comments.

Some Suggestions:

Frost Bolt (low mana puller)
Lighting Shock (best nuke)
Ice Shock (second best nuke, lower mana)
Root
Gate
Lesser Shielding (always keep it on you)

If on Red Server (PvP)

Are you soloing or grouping? Solo root and nuke (nuke will break root). Strafe run to get away from most mobs. I liked killing gnolls in BB for quite a while and found that there was no XP for gnolls, there was still fairly good stuff for the fangs. Throw in some rabid wolves and griz bears and youre laughing.

Keep to groups until 29, save for jboots and quad for as long as you want

I spent 30pp on a http://wiki.project1999.com/Lost_Staff_of_the_Scorned and found it better dps than medding to nuke :S

I'm soloing and thinking the wizard is not for me, going back to my pally i like him much more he is almost 18.

Wizards really take a while to take off. They suck ass at soloing until they can quad kite at 34.
