Looking for a guild on P99 but not sure which one to choose? Then consider Divinity or better yet, listen to the recommendation of our good friend, Horsethief, - the legendary gnome warrior:
Many years ago Divinity was founded by a close family of old friends and fellow like minded players looking for a place on this server that they could call home. As stated by one of the original leaders of the guild, Divinity prides itself as a guild which fosters a positive playing environment on Project 1999. As a guild, we seek to provide a haven for our members from the negative actions found elsewhere on the server and on the P1999 boards which we feel only dampens the enjoyment of Everquest.
Home to the Gnome Squad™ and Spanish Inquisition, Divinity is now one of the oldest and most well respected guilds on the server; free of splits, mergers or takeovers. We are a mature but family oriented class “R” Raiding guild with highly competent, friendly members from all over the world. Since Divinity prizes reputation greatly, we expect our members to conduct themselves in a positive, professional attitude at all times and look down on rants, flames, griefing, foul play and poor behavior.
When it comes to raiding, we also know that real life comes first, so while raid attendance and batphones are encouraged, they are not required. Divinity is council led on all loot and leadership decisions and while it is officer run, it is member owned, with an outstanding group of folks focused on enjoying all of the content the server has to offer while remaining Drama-Free.
If you think that Divinity would be a good place for you to call home, all players level 53 and above are welcome to apply at our website, www.divinity.guildportal.com (http://www.divinity.guildportal.com). Our recruit officer is Veyron - feel free to send him a tell if you have any questions about our guild and/or our application process. Not 53 yet? You don't have to wait until then to get to know us! You can submit an application and be provisionally tagged Divinity, which will allow you to attend raids and get to know the guild. Your full membership will be considered upon reaching level 53.
Of course, some Ogres might not have listened to Horsethief's verbosity, but rather tried to make a meal in a box out of him like our good friend, Zaftig, in which case his recommendation might be more to the point:
