I may be an old dude, but I'm taking my son and his cousin down to Pax East for one of the weekend days this year, as they are in their late teens and both enjoy gaming.
We're taking the train down, will do an overnight in Boston and a day at the convention.
Anyone else planning on going? Have you been before? If so, can you share any advice that will help make the experience better? This is our first convention.
I have heard for instance, that if you want to join a competition or see a panel, get there early? What's the convention food like? Best exhibits? Best day to go? What do you look forward to there? What do you like or hate about Pax? Any stories from conventions past? Suggestions for restaurants around the area? What transportation is available for the show, can you walk easily across Boston to it? Will Bethesda make any announcements about Fallout? Is it worth going?
Any and all thoughts or comments are welcome.
