When I log into my cleric i have about a 50/50 chance of having the throwing skill listed in my skills. I tested this by also going to the trainer as I usually pump a few points into it and it was missing in the list of skills on the trainer as well. I logged back in later that day and it was back in my skill list and back on the trainer.
This happens consistently when sometimes I have the skill and sometimes I don't.
