GM's at work, making the server a better place. I am currently suspended and can't even log in because my name was breaking so many rules. (that number of rules broken was zero, See naming policy)

Who was offended by Dogfood? It wasn't even a brand of dog food, such as Colgate, a brand name toothpaste. Aren't there dogs in Norrath? Do they not eat? Is there some problem with naming a guy dogfood?

It isn't just a name, it can also be a nickname. That's legit immersion. Dogfood was a whelp of a lad considered ill fit for anything but dispersing slop to the mutts... that's where he grew from into a mighty Druid one day, exhiled and raised with wovles to become one of them.

And Colgate being a REAL human name doesn't make it LESS against the rules. You think you could name a character Einstein? Siting it being a real person name makes it even more against the rules if anything you retard. You keep citing it as if that makes it a legit name. As if characters named Steven and Robert in an elf sim don't ruin immersion the same as names like Poopdick.... obviously one is more offensive than the other, but neither is proper within the rules naming.

I just don't understand what the deal is... are they monitoring surnames? I have played with so many absurdly named people on a regular basis that it amazes me the guildies we've had nerfed already. And to what extent? The GM's aren't even banning offensive names, just changing names at will for random crap like Dogfood? GTFO of her with that... the name Dogfood would never eat a nerf on live. Ever. Under any circumstance. Multiple names nerfed from day 1 characters that were in no way offensive, ironically while GM's Sir Ken, and Aussie run free.... why don't you guys lead by example and change your names to random generated names... since no one else gets a fun name to enjoy for their avatar apparently, why should you?

Was a classic RZ name. Commonly used by alot if wizards. Infact I had a name zajiskdhdndj. It never got nerfed. The barcode name in no way violates classic.naming policy at least as it was on live. I understand alot of the names, but Ililililil was never against policy. Names like COLGATE would have been nerfed very quick as it is a direct enfringement on a known copyright.

i do have to say that being a former RZ and Druzzil ro player most names that are being banned in no way break naming policy. as a former live guide on druzzil ro i was told what names violated the rules and were dealt with. at this point i do believe that most of the guides that you have sent to red from blue are purposely targeting people and making an attempt at forcing people to leave the server. if any of my chars names get nerfed i will leave the server for good do to the fact that 3 of them are classic RZ names and were in multiple gm events on live. aussie seems like a good guide the others you have brought need to stay on blue and dont mess with our side of p99.

If your going to enforce ploicy, do it across the board and take on the worst of them first, ex: copyright enfringement and clearly offensive names. Picking on names that harm no one and never violated live rules will cause players to leave eventually. The purpose of project 1999 was to relive classic everquest, names like ililiIL were always present on live.

The complete and utter lack of consistency is sickening and disturbing. GM's directly impacting server health in negative way by breaking rules and needlessly harassing players over asinine and trivial stuff rather than working on any productive solutions for the players real concerns or issues.
