Hi folks,
been playing on this server for a few days and enjoying the retro feel.. brings back memories of when I first started playing EQ. There is one thing that I'd like to suggest though.
In early EQ, some tradeskilled items were highly used and this encouraged people to learn trades to make items for themselves and friends, and also to auction off to other EQers. I remember though that it was possible to actually make a profit from certain tradeskilled items just by selling to vendors (fish fillets and toolboxes spring to mind).
Would the project leader(s) consider altering the base prices of tradeskilled items to allow tradeskill progression to be made more acessable to lower level chars?
I remember using fish fillets to finance my blacksmith training and was so pleased to be able to use my own banded armor and supply guildies.
I don't think it would take a lot of editing in the database and it might encourage more players to take up tradeskills... just a thought.
