Bard instrument skills..

Do they increase the range as you level them up? (totally hypothetical but would a 5 skill in stringed instruments be a smaller range than 20/50/100?)

I ask because, well... been experimenting with some kiting and can't seem to get Denon's off without getting slapped by the mobs - skill in brass? 13 :rolleyes:

Range is fixed. Only AAs increase range.

Skill just determines missed notes.

Would I get a bigger range if I had an instrument equipped? As opposed to singing? L2bard swish

i figured lvl 2 spell is very small range but the lvl 18 aoe spell for sure is higher range not much but extra 5-10 feet

When you're AE kiting that 5-10 feet can be the difference between a successful kite and the closest mob in your train reaching over as far as he can and grabbing you by the dick and pulling you into the frothing jaws of gangrape
