Bleeding to death?

Pain and Suffering got you down?

Heard the death music more times than you flushed the toilet today?

Been level 46 for the past 2 years?

Always wanted to fight dragons, but couldn't stop yourself from being distracted by all the amazing tradeskill fun that classic Everquest offers?

If you formed positive or negative answers in your mind to at least half of those questions, and you are still reading this, then you might be just what we're looking for!

<Dragon Food> - The guild for everyone who sucks at EQ!

Surround yourself with others who openly admit they're crap, and that this game confuses and frightens them, too!

You won't be judged when you stumble into that pit of magic, spell-casting scorpions and then bring them back to the group while autorunning into the wall. Wherever we go, hijinks and corpse runs will likely follow, probably in pretty equal proportion. For we are the true idiots of the box!

Don't believe those "idiots and savages" in that other guild. Trust me when I say they are neither idiots nor savages. They are actually secretly really good at the game and regularly succeed in quests to kill dragons and things.

WE are the bottom of the barrel.

WE are the worst.

And together, we will become...

My enchanter is terrible. If I'm lucky I can keep up with some buffs and mez the occasional add, but don't expect me to charm anything. I keep my JC bag and portable spit with me to distract me from whatever it is the group is doing. I drink too much beer when I play, always forget to bind nearby, and I can't see a damn thing even with my glasses.

Can I join?

With my play lately I may be forcibly removed from BDA and added to your guild.

So, uh, this on Red? The colored post icon makes me think it is, but I'm still not 100% sure what they mean.

Blue. You can tell from the forum (General Community > Guild Discussion); Red has their own Red-specific forum.

Not sure which icon you're referring to, but it might just be the thread icon. When you start a post you can pick an icon to go along with it (try responding now and you'll see the list of "Post Icons" just below the field where you enter your post's text).

I was talking about the little envelope icon that's usually either red or blue, but, *cough*, yeah.

Anyway!
I think I'd be s great fit for this guild. P99 was/is/will be my first EQ experience too. If that's still not enough, it took a visit to the wiki to figure out where the orc hill was, and I was right next to the path at the time.

OT: Bottom of the forums. Red is hot topic, blue is just a topic.

Sounds like officer material to me!

I was going to suggest this , but then thought newbness may not qualify for poor playing. Good to see Dragon Food holds no bias in their embrace of fail ^^ Integrity!

I'm sure I can qualify at least half the time ^^

I have slow reflexes, I'm lazy, I don't understand the importance of practicing anything, and I have long hair as a male. NOW you can't deny me! My ineptitude conquers all whom I meet!

Green Grocer (Portasaurus). Only one problem: I don't think this is an actual guild (as Green Grocer already has a guild, Nomsanto Industries (http://www.project1999.com/forums/showthread.php?t=133576)).

I can't find the exit from Neriak third gate. Will <Dragon Food> be helping players find their way around Norrath, or are you just another one of those "use the wiki" guilds?

Some of us do not own a computer, is why I am asking.

Then how do you play?

A bold assertion... Only time will tell...
