Is it just me or has FD been nerfed, I used to be able to FD no problem, but lately it never works the first time. I now assume it didn't work and FD a second time. I used to take chances and let HP get low and FD at last possible moment seems I can no longer do that. I noticed both on Monk and Nec

Do you turn attack off before using FD?

Have you reinstalled recently which may have changed your FD macro to not turn attack off before activating the ability?

What level are you?
What skill level do you have?

Thanks Ele I didn't think to check the macro I set up over a year ago, it got changed somehow. Maybe like you said when I re-installed. Good call

FD always wipes aggro on mobs sub lvl 35 or so. Maybe you are fighting mobs lvl 35(ish)+ that can remember you when you stand up.

After looking over the resent patches what does the following really mean in terms of using FD:

Haynar: FD is now progressive. On first attempt, mob has about 2/3 chance of remembering you. On second attempt, about 50/50 chance. Each subsequent attempt will give you a greater chance at the mob forgetting you.

Is this only talking about standing up after a FD?

Yes, if the mob is 1) a non-static mob or 2) pathing back to its spawn point.

Yeah my FD has been working pretty well post patch. Although I still /q on big big aggros, I can dump aggro on singles much more reliably.
