How does the melee skill bash work friends? Does it have anything to do with how good of a shield you have? Or is it the higher the strength the more the damage? Also what is the max damage and chances that it will stun? Thank you for talking the time out to reply to this noob question.

Hmmm I do not believe anything affects bash damage it is just for stun/interrupt. I am unable to find much to corroborate this though other than the link below ^^

Anyone else disagree?

Thanks maskmelon I appreciate you taking the time out to reply back to me. Any information is good to me because I was totally clueless about bash.

At some point bash damage was tied to shield AC on live, but I can't for the life of me remember if that happened early on (pre-Luclin) or later. No idea how it is here despite bashing all the time because, well, because it's so little damage regardless who gives a shit? Stun/Interrupt are the important effects, not the damage done.

What's the chances of stun/interrupt when you bash? Is it close to 50% would you say?

Pretty sure Bash interrupts every time it connects.

This conclusion is non-scientific and I say this after hours upon hours of sword n' board staring at a spell window :-)

If bash lands, it will render an interrupt. Bash damage, like kick, is entirely based upon your skill in it. This is why Bash will yield slightly more damage than Kick for most of your leveling career.

Listen to this guy, he has an annoying habit of knowing what he's talking about.
