Looking for advice on the Chief/Bodyguard camp in Droga.
Having never played a Necro I created this character with the goal of toying/experimenting with the different necro mechanics/toolset and soloing end game content such as Howling Stones.
Clearly, I could come back at a higher level and face roll it or just farm the plat but assuming the Droga camp (at lvl 46) is of a manageable difficulty, I would prefer to solo it myself.
Having only spent around 15 minutes examining the camp before logging, I can say that as a 46, the entire room and rooms around ledge are blue to me but start to green out right past that. The only obvious safe spot appeared to be right below the ramp leading up to ledge although there looked like there is possibly a pather that runs through eventually.
As a 46 Iksar necro who is essentially naked, how would yall approach it. Am I going to run into issues with limited DPS and not being able to keep the camp down or maybe my aggro radius at 46 will be too large?
Any advice or recommendations appreciated.

As a 46 necro the break will be tough. Lots of casters, everything is fully buffed etc.
Lots of times people only camp the chief and leave alone the BG spawns or if you ask nicely they'll give you a couple spawns to hold down. If its split you could handle it easy.
As a necro I'd probably send in a suicide pet, pull 1 mob away from back, root and FD. Then just root rot it down. Do this a couple times to split the room then could pet tank/root rot/short fear an area pretty easy.
Droga is tough for sure, if you're actually around an appropriate level for it, because everything is a caster. Mobs are densely packed and will happily heal nearby mobs, nuke and dispel the shit out of you, and so on. Sounds like a challenge - good luck, and let us know how it goes!

I visited Droga for the first time ever with my Shaman duo buddy (me 42 monk, him 40 shaman) and I was terrified by the amount of mobs here!
I'd like to grab me one of those circlets (and possibly the gauntlets) but if I'm soloing without invis this isn't doable.
Question: if I come back to 50+ where all the mobs are low green can I run by them without them aggroing? I know some zones mob jump you no matter what (SolA); is this zone like that or can I just waltz past? I know as a monk I can FD but with the amount of mobs here I'd rather not do it that way.

At level 53 solo, Droga is not a walk in the park and can be pretty hairy at time, if that gives you an idea of the place difficulty. I'd wait level 49 at least as the new pet is head and shoulders above the other ones.

that camp is very tough at 46. you can probably keep it down pretty fine, but breaking the camp will be difficult.
the spot you mentioned is where you wanna start the break. there is one roamer, yes. just stay there and drop invis when its on top of you and you can get it solo. then just root/fd pull mobs from there. you won't be able to take 2 casters at once at lvl 46.
overall you probably should wait until you get your 49 spells, unless you like a good challenge.

So what happened? Did you manage it?

I didn't get to try it at 46 past the original time spent messing around with the camp as I got a group in SolB and accidentally hit 50.
At 50 the camp is easily doable assuming you can successfully break/split some of the rooms which come in 3s and 4s. With the 49 pet and lich I'm not having a problem at all with single and double pulls.
My only death came when I got lazy and tried to root pull the 4 pop room then got multiple early root breaks. My pet died too fast and instead of FDing early I tried to salvage the situation with heals on the pet and more CC. When the pet eventually died I managed to successfully FD but got pulled out of it by a spell cast that had started a split second before my FD finished.
I'll have to experiment more with the best way to pull that room but for the most part I didn't have an issue even allowing for the fact that I missing Bond of Death which I would rather use in conjunction with root instead of one of the other dots and vampiric embrace to help cancel out the HP loss from Lich.
All in all, even with the little amount of time I've actually put into it, it's been a fun first time learning experience for Necro dungeon soloing.
Any more advice or recommendations always welcome.

You have found the most important advise yourself: don't hesitate to call it, reset and restart early. Yes you may have been able to salvage the situation, maybe not. Overall you won't loose much xp doing this but you will avoid shedloads of frustration.
