I am positive that I could disarm traps on this sola pendulum in live. I remember sitting there hidden just spamming "u" or clicking on it in order to disarm it and raise skill that way. Currently it does not even register as a trap that can be disarmed.

It could never be sensed as a trap via the sense traps skill though.

And for disarm, just go to Sol A, walk in and follow the path just a few feet til you find a swinging axe accross the path. Find an angle where you can hit 'U' and get the message 'You have successfully disarmed the trap', preferably facing away from the middle of the hallway in case other players run by. Then just tap 'U' furiously, or get a program that'll do that for you. There's no delay on disarming the trap, so the skill goes up very fast. When I started doing LDoN, I went back and spent somewhere between 30-60 min in Sol A, and got disarm from 75 to 200.

As for disarm trap the pots of fire in Timorous Deep register as traps i got from 20-200 in about 15 minutes...

This was a nice technique . . . went from 21 to 200 in Disarm Traps very quickly. Much better than Sol.

Every beam on the dock was flagged as a 90* door.

Ok, so this isn't a perfect fix, but as of the next patch, you'll be able to detect, and disarm the traps in sol a, via the sense and disarm trap buttons. Disarming them won't stop them, but at least you can get some skill-ups off of them while we figure out how to recreate classic disarm traps.

I've also set up timorous with the same ghetto-rig.

If there are other traps in other zones that need defined, post a reminder here.

I'm pretty sure the crusher trap in Solb also needs to be looked at.
It's been a while since I checked though...

I usually take 50 damage from the crusher when I'm not paying attention.
