I've had a great time since coming back to red from blue raiding and PVPing with these guys. I've started recording my gaming and while we were forming up for Raijiin's Necro epic fight I captured a candid moment on Teamspeak when Gongshow layed out the past, present, and future vision of Holocaust guild.

for all of you newcomers, we have already endured a guild just like yours who was saying they recruited for "velious", they were called nihilum and it took us 2,5 years to take them out, your leaders (80% of them) was in that guild which essentially makes you the new nihilum. I have to disagree with you Smedy. I was an app of Nihilum and Holocaust. The latter has definitely treated me better.

I recall distinctly being on a Trakanon raid with Nihilum and a Donals BP dropped. I had only been in guild for 3 weeks but it was promptly "banked". Holocaust would and does give loot on a need basis even if its their first and possibly last raid. I've seen a lot of " retirees" in my time with Holo and even that has not changed our policy one bit.

Funny you say that all the most toxic personalities are the most blue players here.

Swyft is likely the most annoying person on the server, both in game and forumquest. He has to be acting out some kind of kaufmanesque performance art, otherwise, well this isn't rants-n-flames so I will leave it at that. Unlike "new competitive games" this 16 year old game isn't chalked full of tool tips to hold your hand and tell you everything you need to know. The information is out there, don't get me wrong. However, if the skill ceiling really is low, the game isn't nice about teaching it to you.

A small mistake may mean exp loss, long and dangerous CRs, and sometimes even ridicule from the elitist members of community.

Have you ever died at the bottom of Dalnir, or any dungeon? Good luck getting your corpse back unless you got the skills and willpower and to get there alone and naked. Even if you have invis, shit sees invis. even if you FD Mahfuckas cast spells so you got to time it just right.
