Howdy,
I recently got my first fungi and can't decide which alt to make. Does one seem to utilize a fungi more than another? I also have haste and weapons but not much cash beyond that. Just wanting to hear opinions ideas and discussions.
Thanks guys!

Are you looking to main solo/duo/group?
Solo - Go shaman. While monk can solo fine with fungi, it slows down a lot in the 40s as mobs start doing enough damage to make 15/tick seem tiny. I became addicted to expensive regen pots on my monk around level 40.
Duo - Go with whatever compliments your partner best. If you have a priest friend, definitely go monk.
Group or some of everything - Go with what you like, it doesn't really matter.

Mostly solo actually.
How fast do shaman level early if twinked? Can't decide troll or iksar, but I def want mega regen

Only advantages of iksar over troll are smaller size and starting in kunark.
Meanwhile disadvantages include: losing out on 4 cheap clicky buffs (junk buffing ftw), clicky dd wrist (not super duper useful after you can click epic cuz root breaks r bad, but awesome from 45 to 50 at least), no slam, significantly lower stam (~120 less hp if you're below stam cap), and no clicky snare neck (*shrug*).
I do think that troll regen > ogre frontal stun immunity, because either way when you hit 60 and get torpor you're going to feel OP, but with troll regen you get to feel extra OP all the way to 60 too.
For twinking, fungi, fbss or better, jade mace til 20 then GFG, 5/55 rings and you're set.
As for which benefits best from fungi, well, they both benefit a lot. Every char that can wear one benefits a lot. Would you rather play a puller that can dps/tank or a buffer/slower that can solo super effectively, especially past 50 when everyone else slows down, and hunt big game at 60 (albeit after spending a fortune on lvl 60 spells)?
If you just want to have some fun with your new tunic then put it on a monk alt and feel like a god till about 40-45 like the above poster said, if you burn out on mink after fungi loses its appeal then you still have most of the work done towards having a useful naggy/vox alt. If you want the tunic to retain its op status into higher lvls then throw it on a shaman and try to get an epic around lvl50 so you can continue to have a powerful soloing option.

Shaman > Monk if your looking to solo.
Troll has great regen and even better with a fungi, if you get a Poison Wind Censer or Granite Face Grinder you should be able to tank and spank most mobs your level with very little downtime. Just slow and swing.

Do troll butt cracks show in chain tunics?

Hard to pick, they both supremely benefit from fungi.
I'd say it's more necessary on shaman; whereas, you can still be an amazing Monk with just an IFS and some HP gear. At 60 it changes again since you have Torpor. The fungi regen is insignificant by comparison. That's why many top tier troll shamans reroll Ogre.
So the real answer is: it depends.
1-24 Monk or Shaman. 24-59 Shaman. 60 Monk again
