So I am recently having computer issues with my aver all in one where it goes black screen after the windows 8 logo. I'm hoping to sell this and get a new computer and wanted to ask a few questions..first, I'm looking for a computer than can run p99 and just basic computer functions, I have an Xbox for gaming. Would Intel celron work? I was looking for something portable like a dell Inspiron 19.5 all in one or surface pro. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Did you try to factory restore your AIO desktop?

a surface Pro can run EQ. People have done it. Can search for it.

surface pro would probably work fine but there are a lot of known issues with windows 8 and tablets specifically that you would have to hurdle. If you are really just looking for a p99 box I would recommend just getting a solid traditional laptop as cheaply as possible that will run windows 7 and has some sort of gfx acceleration.

Well I think I really f'd my computer up. I restarted it then updated the bios. Once I did that my computer wanted me to do a fresh install of windows 8 but when I try it says I can't and then tells me I don't have a partition

When you flashed the BIOS it likely reverted the hard drive mode to IDE. Try changing it back to AHCI or RAID.
