Why can't I create a server account?

Every time I'm at step 3 and give my number, click to continue, it kicks me back to step 2.

I can't get to step 4 and create a server account. Whats the deal?

If the server account part of the process (during the account setup steps) is looping back to a previous step, just skip the steps and go in to your account/user cp page. There is a direct link in there to link a server account, where you will be able to create one.

I was sure this was in user cp as well, but I am not seeing it either. Odd.... :/

My mistake. It is on the P99 home page.

Left side of screen under the navigation pane. From there just look down a bit and you should see Account System. The links will be listed there.

Edit: Loginserver Accounts, is what you are looking for.

I have personally helped like 6 or more other people start accounts, even if using remote software. I cannot recall a single time where the create account section of the startup his actually progressed properly to the login server account section. This could be a big problem for people trying to get started playing on this awesome server with this awesome in-game community. Maybe someone should look into this issue. I imagine some people will get frustrated when they can't login after creating an account (albeit a forum only account, this can be confusing for the vast majority of people who don't stop and read every little thing)

Just my 2 cents on the account creation experience and get more people playing project1999

I agree. I bet there would be a heck of a lot more people playing in here if there was a better way to install this stuff. A Person should not have to be a computer wiz to play a 16 year old game. :o

Totally agree. I've had more than 1 friend nix the idea after all the patching & work arounds to get a game up & running.
