Yeah im not allowed to buy a console that tells me I need to pay to use the web. Im willing to oay a subscription for a bunch of free games like sony offers but I womt be forced into it. I want the little kids who steal their first ps4 to be able to olug that baby in and start playing call of duty on their neighbors wifi immediately without a credit card.

If your a fan of the halo series you will like it, it reminds me a Lil bit of borderlands but without all the humor. Decent game overall.

I'd take $50 of Steam sale games over "access to online console gaming" myself.

This console generation made me get a better PC and I don't think I'm looking back.

Some games I prefer on console, others on pc. It's really preference. Some people are better off not touching a computer honestly

Yeah I love console sometimes, but paying 50 dollars for uhhh "online access" is morally wrong. I already paid for bandwidth and I want kids who just bought a PS4 in a pawn shop to be able to play call of duty without a freaking credit card.

The 50 dollars a year service is great. On PS4 you get a butt load of awesome free games worth way more than you are paying monthly, in addition to a whole bunch of other awesome services. These services should be optional and I would actually be willing to pay for them just to keep japanese consoles in business.

Unfortunately Sony decided to emulate microsoft and make online play a limited feature only for people who are paying a monthly or yearly fee which causes all kinds of harm just to try to have a more profitable business plan.

So yeah as much as I actually would love to buy a PS4 and do some couch gaming and other relaxing gaming, I really can't get behind that whole situation..thats not how video games are supposed to be.

Hey remember when video games used to ship to you complete and actually working correctly without a buncha bugs requiring patches? Like...remember when you could turn on a console and play instead of waiting 10 minutes to update some junk?
