Druid is an easier first class for sure. Wizard is slightly better then druid in pvp but druid is still a very good pvp class and you can PL/port for plat in order to gear up.

You can make a new chat window, put OOC in it, then minimize it. Voila! No more drivel. You can un-minimize it whenever you want to use it to look for groups or auctions.

I do hope you'll come play with us. We saner ones are quiet, but we're here.

Can always disable ooc chat entirely in the option area (alt+o). Though if the ooc here is too much then.... yeah. That's weak. Go play some crazybobs (SA-MP server). Red will look like a pretty tame place. Especially after your third visit to jail and subsequent raping (literally) with a quick transmission of three STD's.

true enough. we want people on red but if you get your jimmies rustled by OOC or a few ganks you're definitely not thick-skinned enough for teh pvp experience

I'm about as internet hardened as you can get, but I minimized ooc when I saw all the "pras" spam. Can you explain for us new folks why red is so defensive about it?

Global ooc isnt classic and it gives the unitiated the impression that all red players are mentally ill and promotes a feeling of disgusting hostility that is not the actual reality of red. The normal people are pretty quiet so the ooc spam is predominantly unhappy stuff and hurts the server in more ways than one.

For me the worst thing is that it makes norrath feel small. Under classic circumstances when you find someone in the karanas to chat with it was kinda cool..here we have ooc scrolling around all the time and it cheapens that specific zone connection.

It also means we have no hope of developing an auction zone.

Eagerly awaiting the city wide OOC with normal ooc in non cities.
