So, first off this is aimed more at solo charming and involves a first char with very subpar gear. Just got done charming killing mammoths and are starting to go green. Tried kedge need maybe 1-2 more level to do fish just too many resists at 31 with reduced mana pool. The only thing left seems to be grimalkins in loio, and OT seems to be similar as kedge with resists. Any other suggestions would be most appreciated, thanks.

Mammoths in EF should still give exp for another level or two. I think I switched to Ancient Croc camp in Upper Guk after that until 37 or so.

Variety of Griffons in NK. I think Griffenne or Griffon may be doable? Its worth giving a shot.
That level range is very rough until Velious though. Kedge is doable but very RNG dependant. OT exp is terrible cause OT. But Iceclad/Great Divide/East Wastes have tons of animals to charm and kill at 30.

Thanks for the responses, I thought about EF for another lvl. I think I'm just at a spot where I need to get exp anyway I can to push through to 34.

my friends are a 35 druid and a 30 enc. They sometimes go to overthere to play around with charm.

Even just root rotting in FV is generally faster than levels elswhere(unless you get a lucky string of Griffons)
I just made a topic on this subject, ultimately if soloing then you're stuck with EJ, OT or high end Grimalkins in LOIO

Griffons fly really fast so watch out.

I was doing CE groups in MM at that range. Go be sociable with other players. :)

Uber quest that not many know about: collect lore scrolls outside splitpaw (can quad them), turn into Qeynos for like 14% level each.
Here is the kicker: you bind in Qeynos at the turn in, then port to NK and collect them again.. so all you do is gate to turn them in (turn in 1 at a time).
Best possible exp in the game from 30-40, and only like 1% of druids/wiz know about the quest.

I wanted to do this on my Dark Elf Wiz but I couldn't find a way to raise my Qeynos Citizens faction.
So don't ruin that or be a good race if you want to do that quest!

Does druid charm require CHA, or is it only based on char level and a MR resist check?

Giants in WW giant fort, very easy at 29. Pull with either Snare or Creeping Crud onto the hill, then just root and rot them. Evergreens stay blue til at least 35. If overcamped go to Dalnir entrance and do the same with 5 brutes near entrance. Can even go inside Dalnir and kill 2 goo roamers for +150% exp bonus.
Although at 34 I'd go to Overthere and charm or quad there while also selling ports at SF ramp.

Druid charm is pure level/MR. Only enchanter charms are affected by CHA.

Some great info. Tank thx for mentioning paw quest will have to try it. I do group whenever I can I'm usually on for an hour maybe 2 at most so sometimes grouping just isn't feasible, otherwise MM exp has been great when I get a group.

And a key thing to remember is that the check happens every tick, so raise your guard if you suspect the Tash or Malo faded before the charm broke.
To OP -- Leveling Druid / Enchanter is shamefully underrated. Damage shield and charm is a crime against NPC's and Aoe Stun + Evac allows you to pull absolutely anything and then just hit the fail-safe eject button if things go sour. You can teleport to the zone and then calm your way to any given target. Shamans and Clerics are only 'better' than druids come very end game when they get extremely strong heal mechanics -- and even still, the ability for druid / enchanter to snipe named and cycle through mobs for XP and drops is unsurpassed.
Really the key is with druid is that people want to play them solo but they really shine their brightest in the duo or trio situation. Druids in particular are probably a part of the most amount of effective duos. Basically any other class you link up with can be manipulated in a way that it's much more fun and rewarding than soloing.

I'll second this suggestion for when you don't want to solo. It's ridiculously good xp, you can just chain pull with snare and the enchanter only needs to fear and keep the charmed pet up. It's stupid easy for the xp you get.

It is the Karana Tear quest here: http://wiki.project1999.com/Tesch_Val_Scrolls
I turn in ONE of the LORE skins at a time to Edvard, and I am getting 3 blue per turn in. I've gone from 22-27 in a matter of days.
I think that druids do this exceptionally well because if someone is doing spires, you can provide them support via heals and snares in return for looting the skins. I am able to gate, turn in and run back before a mob corpse rots. People in their 30s and 40s who are not equipped to quickly turn in the quest are more inclined to stay at the spires. Good aligned druids and wizards are particularly capable of making this work well. For any other class, it would take too long to run.
Once I am able to efficiently kill these things instead of scavenging the skins, I think this exp will go even smoother.
This is not your typical exp gaining process. I've been thinking of this as more of an unconventional group. I am not constantly gaining exp by killing, but I am certainly gaining more over the course of a mostly AFK day. In my 20s, I am averaging about 8-9 skins per level. Not to mention, those leveling are benefiting from my buffs and heals.
An item of note: there are 4 LORE skins total, and to avoid rots or lost skins I will typically turn in for 2 or 3 to avoid the possibility of one rotting.
It has been a fun experience for me, but requires great patience. The return is certainly worthwhile.

There are two versions of the skins, one is LORE and says so in the description, the other is not LORE and looks like a spell. The tanned skins that are not LORE serve no purpose that I have found other than containing text to read.
Keep killing gnolls, you'll find one. Message me in game and I'll link one to you if I have one, they have a different icon from the non-LORE version.
