It blows me away how hard it is to find a grp. Im currently lvl 38 and it seems noone needs a cleric. I'm looking to level so i can charge everyone 200+ plat for rez because i just sit and med , no time for loot :/...
On a side note: fuck pulling when im oom with no clarity..

Well some of these problems are you, and some of them are how p99 is.

Clerics aren't a necessity in most groups, especially xp groups, because players are clever enough to figure out how to make groups work without a cleric healer. At low levels, clerics heals aren't much (or any) better than dru/sham, but dru/sham bring more to the table too. At mid levels, CH is hard to use well and dru/sham still bring more to the table. At high levels, lots of people avoid full groups. Stuff like that.

But there are things you can do to minimize these issues, mainly filling up a friends list and/or joining a big guild so that you always have people who are willing to take you along for xp even if they don't "need" a cleric. They'll probably also give you dibs on gems, trade you a stack of dots every now and then, etc.

If people are pulling when you're oom, let people die and then explain simply, calmly, that you can't heal if you don't have mana.

A) Clerics are more common here relative to their popularity on Live. Hence individual players may find a slightly tougher time finding groups than they're accustomed to. Certainly groups here do not fawn over their Clerics as they so often did on Live.

B) Grouping is at its weakest in the level 35-50 range. It's an established server with a top-heavy population and that level range is right where folks get bored with alts but before you reach levels where things compress a bit.

C) Pullers in general, and Monks in particular, tend to be overzealous and keep on pulling regardless of healer mana. Some of them actually believe that faster experience can be made by overpulling and sometimes wiping than by operating in a sane manner. Most the rest are just imbeciles who don't pay attention to group chat except to complain when they die.

i can never find a healer at that level. goto CoM and youll get groups as a healer.

This is a digression from the thread's topic, but don't be afraid to stand up and loot every once in a while. Just because you're a cleric doesn't mean that you need to literally med every second in order to play your class well. There's no sense in being broke because you're worried about losing a med tick every couple minutes.

do /who all 36 44

Start sending out tells to monks, warriors, enchanters, and mages. When there's not a group available in the dungeons you want to group in, you can almost always quickly find a duo partner.

Or put together a full group. It helps if you're friends with an enchanter (you should be, since ench/cleric is OP duo). Filling in the other 4 slots is cake.

Try and find an enchanter to duo with if you can. Disgusting combo, but it also relies on the enchanter being a somewhat decent player, which there aren't a ton of while leveling.

Inferior non-monk classes need to learn to FD, dieing rarely crosses my mind as an option. The monk army shall rise.

But seriously, sometimes people are complaining that you are not chain pulling, other times people are complaining that your not single pulling, it takes a good little while to get the feel of what your group can do and make everyone happy.

Go red, we always need healers. Blue server is just overpopulated.
