Not much to see here. Red players want an easymode, where certain thresholds make them immune to certain types of spells. Sounds pretty unclassic. Roll that dice, welcome to RNGQuest. Where a level 50 toad can fear a 255 MR 60 Bard.

aka not spec stunned at 100 mr every single time same with ghoul root... no less from a GREEN CON!

Don't know just yet if its a problem with npc procs or mana free npc abils?

Ghoul root is what tipped me off then I went around checkin and askin. None of my twinks / chars I played live through Velious had any problem with ghoul root / spec stun like this.

No level of MR should make you immune to any of those abilities. 120 isn't some magic number. Never was. Never will be.

I recall Ghoul Root sticking pretty frequently. If you have evidence it was easily resistible pre-Luclin, post it up.

ya i mean it's real classic to be kiting plane of fear at level 60 with 255 MR and constantly get rooted by level 30 glare lord earth pets

Along that note:

Seems to be a combination of issues related to those anecdotes.

1. Spells/songs cast on the player after an ITU should negate ITU's effect but not drop the spell icon.
2. Some undead still scowl even with ITU on, but won't see through it when you get within body aggro range.
3. Hide breaks ITU.

In rathe mountains at the skel camp invis to undead would not work on the following mobs

Skeletons
Ice Boned Skeletons
Dry Bone Skeletons
Zombie

It did however work on
Giant Skeletons
Barb Boned Skeletons
Skeletal Monks

I invissed up the Spectre tower in Oasis just to enjoy the view before I started the slaughter =)

They all conned Ready to attack but nothing was aggro to me, even the blue ones...

Ok, one thing i have noticed about it. You have to be careful of, if someone does cast anything on you, or your in the radius of a bard song, the icon for invis stays, but you are no longer invis. I think alot of things seem to have see invis as well.

Secondly, if you get a buff after casting invis (e.g. clarity in Bedroom), you need to re-invis yourself. Your invis is no good. I found out the hard way on this. Ran to BR for clarity, didn't re-invis ran back down hall still Invisible but GIBS saw thru the invis this time.

Lastly, if you have a bard in your group. Make sure he plays NO songs while you are Invis. This makes the invis worthless.

@ your above the reason they scowl is because toothy mobs like drakes a crocodiles were said to "scowl" naturally whether they would attack you or not

Add mage earth pets from npcs to that list, thank you grandmaster

so do charmed frogs for instance have less a of a chance to root someone as an uncharmed one? or is root proc just a whole nother animal itself? ive actually wondered about this as well. pulling my on 54 bard at the time, even while playing MR songs with dragon drum from (over 190 mr), id still get rooted.

i guess what i should ask is, does root/stun procs have different resist checks than regular root/stun spells?

I have a sneaking suspicion if I charmed a green con basilisk in lower guk live side that it would stun the shit outta someone. Or a sonic bat.

Stuns aside from ones caused by dragon aoe's/otherwise with strong modifiers were ridiculously easy to resist =).
