I have no idea where to start. I have been out of the computer purchasing game for a decade. I need a monitor, a tower, keyboard, speakers, mic etc etc etc.
Id like to get a good sized monitor but computer power, that i can run modern games fluently is a must.
Any of you nerds want to help your pal lron out? The quicker i get this done, the quicker I can log into P99 and enhance everyone's EQ experience.

I actually am buying a new computer.
The people who were "rude" are trying to troll me....but i can see how you might be confused.
I built for about 1100 a machine that has run everything I've threown at it perfectly. With the extra 4-500 you're willing to spend you could get a better graphics card as well as an SSD HDD and make it even better
MSI 940A-G46 Mobo
8 GB of 2300 MHz Ram
Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2 GB
AMD FX8350- 8 corse @ 4.0GHz
1x 1TB 10,000 RPM HDD
1x 2 TB 10,000 RPM HDD
Runs like a champ, althought I do not have an SSD whch would enhance it by quite a bit, also the mobo is not the best of but it gets the job done, I am debating upgrading my MOBO soon.
Edit, I fail at reading comprehension, was unaware you were buying a pre-assembled machine. Disregard this I suck cocks.
