This isn't a rant or flame so i believe it doesn't belong there. This is a message to the members of fresh to kind of explain a bit about how this server works and how you ended up where you are at. And where we go from here.

Up until weds the 10th, God's Work had a no grief, not to actively seek out fresh members and attack them order. The reason behind this is because you guys were not seen as a threat and honestly no one on this server wants to order their guild to attack a bunch of new players.

on weds the 10th, Bigtuna, Fresh's guild leader entered into an alliance with holocaust against God's Work in Karnors Castle while we were engaged on Venril Sathir(raid mob).

Holocaust is an established guild that has an active seek and destroy policy on God's work, and as do we(God's Work) have for Holocaust. By proxy you are now thrust into this whole arrangement.

So lets examine what this means,
#1 by allying with holocaust that makes you a threat
#2 by allying with holocaust as a guild officer i must assume that future alliances are going to happen if not the total absorption in the long run by holocaust.

so where does this leave us?

Normally what would happen is God's Work would issue a kill order on Fresh, meaning we would hunt you down on our twinked out lvl 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, we would come to your planar clears and disrupt you there as well, hoping to stem your progress so you would not be a threat in the future. Up until now we have not had reason to do this. As its policy of God's Work not to hurt the population of the server by going after new players with no reason.

What actually is going to happen, because i believe that this is not fresh's as whole fault and one poor decision should not make the game unplayable for all within fresh. This all boils down to poor leadership on Bigtuna's part. He let his emotions get the best of him and clouded his leadership abilities, we are not going to come to your planar clears and disrupt them, leadership is not going to actively send out roaming kill squads to disrupt your exp gains.

What I am not going to do is to tell my members to not actively go and seek you out, This is a pvp server. If someone wants to come kill you thats their decision, so be it. Up until now I would actively tell my members to not engage fresh. That is no longer the case.

This is a pvp server, there is politics involved here, things can always change. If fresh ws to unally with holocaust I would be willing to put the hands off entirely tag back onto fresh.

You are mad because there was PVP on a PVP server, but now you threaten (oh so left-handedly) and intimate there will be a punishment inflicted by GW player upon <Fresh> because it's a PVP server. That is not HPT's ui, His is pretty different iirc. It is the duxai UI with HPT's target bar copy pasted into the folder. After they changed the color coding on target bars, I needed something different. And the bar HPT had was perfect, Resizable and all to fit wherever however big.

i will again state that GW does not have an active seek and destroy policy on fresh, we will not show up to there planar clears and ruin there day. If individual members or even groups of GW want to get together on there own without leadership go-ahead to pvp fresh that is a-ok. it's a pvp server.

Since I don't really understand everything and don't know history and such, would you please explain me again.
It seems to me you are telling us :
- That we can get killed on this PVP server because our guild got involved in a PVP event against you
- You had previously no guidelines to kill us but you did because it's a PVP server.
- You had no guidelines NOT to kill us since it's a PVP server.
- You now have no guildelines NOT to kill us since we allied.
- You threaten us to have some guidelines to kill us since we allied.

So basically you kill us. On a PVP server.
So what is it we actually need to know more than that and what is the purpose of your original message ?

I've been playing my red SK Ninjaturtle <Flowers of Happiness> who is around 20 now with several members of <Fresh> lately... and I can tell you if I see any of you <Biblethumpers> in range I attack on sight. I am a weakling... but harmtouch stings and my lack of most gear isn't as bad as many others... I do have a nifty Nathsar Greatsword to bury hilt deep in your passive aggressive ass.

It's PVP.... and people don't like you and seem to steadily be teaming up in not liking you and killing you. I think this thread backfired and makes the situation much worse for you and rallies support for <Fresh> if anything.

They aren't allied. They just generally aren't messing with each other that much. Kind of like what Agatha said about <God's Work> and their attitude toward <Fresh>. Your understanding of a PvP server is limited to prior failed emus.

DIPLOMACY and STRATEGY are really what make PvP enjoyable, and Velious will demand both of those. Not the egocentric gank-fest this server has seen in the past.

I came back and am staying because the general attitude of the server has changed. The toxics are on their way out the door - or are adapting - and the fresh blood on the server seems to understand meaningful PvP.

These are the types that have no problem going 6vs1 on some newb in rags and telling them to quit EverQuest cuz they are terrible then cry zerg when its 30 VP chars vs 45 in rags

I will gladly take a guild gearing 50-60 people up (likely with high turn over) and not destroying no drops in front of them if they haven't raided for 6 months over 35 people just gearing their alts and running off new blood (read: KILLING the population)

Which is stupid because if all they really cared about was pvp and not pixels, they would dread anyone being run off the box because it results in a lack of pvp targets
