Of course it's not classic, but I personally think being able to speak to each other makes the grouping/exp grind more fun than not. I'd probably be less likely to bail due to boredom.

I remember taping socks to my big ass wireless phone and propping it on my shoulder and talking to my buddies when I PVP for hours on end. That was of course only available after I got off 56K to free up my LAN line. Man it's crazy how much technology has changed in just 10-15 years.

From what Whiteberry was saying they stopped him linking his TS3 server here, not sure how accurate that is, but I guess to be an official P99 voice chat it needs to come from the P99 guys.

I like the idea, though it has come up before like Swish had mentioned. If not for here then certainly red players would probably get some use out of it when coordinating in small numbers. It is nice to know however that the option is available.

I'm a bit of a typer with EQ but /shrug :p thanks for offering this to the community anyway though. I could see where it'd come in handy to those who are not associated with a guild tag and their TS/vent

I would just use Raidcall. Ventrillo sounds, almost no user cap, completely free to host and use (like not even micropayments) and yeah. It almost sounds too good to be true but I use it with my guild. Honestly I still don't believe how good it is and I use it on a daily basis.

Pons, that brings back many memories of my WoW raiding nights. We had a warlock on our guild that was an elderly black man (this is relevant) from the south. One day he asked me and a few of the other girls on our TeamSpeak channel during a raid what we thought about getting sex toys for Christmas. HE SOUNDED LIKE MORGAN FREEMAN WITH A DEEPER VOICE. Imagine, it's like hearing the voice [that played] of God on your TeamSpeak asking what kind of foreign objects you liked to have up your hooha.

I was a rogue at the time, and not a tank, so I didn't have to worry about the technical things like placement of the mob, position, disciplines, etc. and all I had to keep doing was stabbing the boss in the ass, whilst typing incredulously to my officer channel, "Really?" and one of our female officers furiously typing, "I'm going to mute his ass right now" and to which one of the other officers said, "No, I'm going to record this and youtube it." We wiped. He used that wipe opportunity to ask the question again, "Now that we're not busy and are just running back to try again".

That recording does sound like the dude who was bitching at the Onyxia raid that he wanted MORE DOTS. MOOOOOORE DOTS!
