1. DoTs shouldnt be showing damage, only wore off message should.

2. Scrolling out to 3rd person should not be possible

3. Buffs should not be showing duration even when pressing ALT

4. Buff stacking not working properly here. If you have an empty slot on top, the next buff should fill it. Example you have 2 empty slots then Skin Like Wood then SoW. Someone recasts SoW on you, it could goto the top slot. (being worked on according to dev)

5. When casting a spell from the sitting position it should give you message must be standing to cast a spell and not have you stand automatically. there is more than on design.

6. when camping from the standing position it should say you must be sitting to camp instead of sitting you down automatically.

7. not sure if bug or what but it seems like I hardly see my actual weapon swing while in first person view. if you look at this video i am linking, you certainly see the rangers weapons. this is not the case on here unless ranger epics are different. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVrOmBUDBS0

8. pretty sure this is client side but user should not be able to see how much mana he has as a number.

9. level up graphic not classic (Fixed)

10. linking items and multiple chat boxes not classic

11. apparently spell book shouldnt be 8 spells per page but a wierd design (dont remember this)

12. spells take long as HELL to memorize (both to spell book and to spell bar) on eqmaq. not even joking, probably takes at least 5x as long.

guess you can make a /sit /camp macro and label it camp.



I understand we are shooting for "classic" or whatever.
but many of the changes that were implemented on live like this were just to make a smoother playing game and were changes that made sense. going back to unpatch stuff like this is kinda dumb. might aswell bring back the entire window frame and the fact you had to stare at the spellbook to med.

Whatever, its free. just my 2 cents.

Why? When kunark is already out and velious is about to drop? Makes no sense. That would just be keeping all the worst attributes of the original model of the game but progressing with the expansions with an outdated u.i. and game controls.

I love this server, I really do.

But going that far back to completely trash unsmooth gameplay is just unnecessary imo....

I have most items memorized but good lord losing just item links would be terrible. Or staring at book to med? *shudder*

Never got the "lets make it shittier because shittier is classic" argument. It's like the metagame for some of these nerds. It's like when the color got removed from the target window so you had to con a mob instead. Some career virgin actually bug reported that, like not having to hit your con button every time was somehow ruining his immersion levels (probably Samwise).

Exactly. Yeah, classic doesn't mean "shittier and unrefined". They constantly came up with changes like that on Live to make gameplay better, not to change the game (for the most part if it wasn't part of an expansion or something)

Denying people quality of life improvements made to the game simply because it happened after an arbitrary date of what is defined as classic is borderline retarded. Shared banks and /corpsedrag would certainly break the game as we know it right?

Yes because if I couldn't do it in 2000 then I don't want to do it here. The thrill of dropping a bag on the ground and logging into another character before somebody else can snag your stuff is unforgettable. When velious is released, I'm going to sell my house and cars, move in with my parents, enroll in adult ged classes and by a cheap computer using a crt monitor with ball mouse.

Get that Immersion going bros.
