Qeynos is impossible to get to. NFP has and always will be the center of trade for Red.

They should link all cities together through ooc, no safe zone shit. If you wana sell/buy, looking for a group or bored. Get to a city.

Qeynos is easy to get too, and easy to faction with i think.. gnoll teeth do wonders.. so everyone can get equal faction easy and buy sell trade in the city... Have duals in the arena.. would be a fun place to lurk around..

Thurgadin

Thurg was also one of the trading spots on Rallos, with Gfay being the major one.

The reason Queynos is a shit spot is because of how inaccessible it is, im guessing the guy is trolling (Although im not sure when that druid port to that nearby zone comes in, but Gfay remained the hub on Rallos). For the same reason, its why Gfay became that trade hub.

Zones with both a wizard and druid port currently:
Tox
Dreadlands
EJ
Skyfire
WC

Only one of those is 1 zone away from a city. In fact 2 cities.

Tox therefor should be the new gathering zone.

It's pretty dumb to remove global OOC at this point if you want to keep attracting new players to the server. It's absolutely invaluable for getting groups started. Instead of removing it entirely, just modify it to have a limit of one message every 5 or 10 minutes. It can then be easily used for auction and LFG purposes, while cutting out 99% of the bullshit spam and shit talking. And as a bonus, what shit talk does remain will skyrocket in quality since people know they can only get a few lines in every X number of minutes.

Failing that, remove global OOC and add global /auc and global /lfg channels. If players abuse either for non-auction or non-LFG purposes, warn them on the first strike, suspend them on the second, and ban them on the third.

But I think the first idea is the simplest and the best. Just put a cooldown on global OOC, which allows the server to retain all of its benefits while limiting most of its drawbacks.

Why do you still post here? I would have though being banned multiple times would have maybe given you the clue that no one wants you here.

One of which is evil.

Pretty convincing reason for Toxx actually.

I say until server gets above 600 pop consistently that global ooc is the way to go. I really don't think red will ever get above 500 as an average. Not knocking it at all, I love my red server, but I think that's pretty reasonable. I for one wouldn't mind the global ooc staying permanently. I actually like it.

I say if it ain't broken don't fix it. More player's like OOC than don't why implement something that the majority of the community would be against solely because a few players refuse to use the built in ignore feature.
