Does the effect stack with normal regrowth? Am I missing something here? Would this make me a MUCH more effective power leveler? (I am a 59 druid)

Stacks with tunics regen, not spell.

The post-nerf stick isn't too useful on a druid. On a shaman, however, it is god-like. It stacks with the tunic and is clickable at 35. At 35 with just those two items the regen is insane.
I have the tunic + stick combo on my 55 shaman. I still use the stick since it's a mana-free regrowth. Helps save mana. Sow boots instantly overwrite the buff and removes the snare. Good for emergencies.

It'd be good for a Druid with a manastone but otherwise I couldn't see the point of having it.

Should stack with Regen line if you had SoW above Regen in classic.
Push for this change and this staff becomes more useful than a 35-50 shaman leveling tool.

now that I use torp, having regen seems like very situational.. so to jut flip it on and click it off whenever would probably be mana efficient.. I'm going to get one.

With the changes to dispell, I'm considering purchasing one again. Regen is supposed to be a mana efficient heal over time, but in combat with casters now it's pretty pointless to cast it. Since the dispell is unresistable, even while farming in Split Paw it no longer made sense to recast regen during combat.
Mana free clicky regen solves that problem, for not a ton of money.

lmao Im sorry if it makes you feel any better it was 59 levels of agony saving for it.
Wait! so it looks like it must be equiped.. i thought for some reason that you didnt need to equip this staff, but only sham/dru could click it from inventory.. I dont know of any other items like that so I dont know why I thought that...
anywho.. I'm gonna pass on this considering fumbling with my OT hammer and my shield/spear is enough of a problem for me.
Unless can anyone confirm for me that its clickable from inventory by a shaman or Druid?
Thanks!

Isn't it the prenerf (Fungus) only version that is clickable from inventory by anyone?
So I checked wiki:
Kunark
Fungus Covered Great Staff - originally this right-click group-targetable Fungal Regrowth effect could be cast by anyone from an inventory slot. Especially powerful for Necromancers, among others. Replaced with Fungi Covered Great Staff which require it be equipped. to cast - in effect, making it usable by only Druids and Shamans. (ref)

I've thought about getting one, but druids get clicky regrowth of the grove on their velious BP. Just gonna wait for one of those. ES BP is 5 less regen and no movement restriction too. Not terribly more expensive than the staff either. I just don't see it being worthwhile for druids.

Yea if it was just a single tap to turn on and off regen, Id be all over it.. but I cannot in good conscious think that grabbing my shield, putting it in inventory swaping it and the staff putting it in my main hand, clicking and then putting it in my bag and then bac.. f it...
I dont even like typing this. Yea naw :(
