I mean I probably wont because if illusioned you lose frontal stun but as troll in illusion you keep regen. Just wanted opinions

Go ogre or be mentally prepared to justify your decision every time you eat a stun for the rest of your days as a shaman.

I've done both:

You definitely notice the lower regen.

You definitely notice the no frontal stun.

IF you're not an ogre as a shaman, sadly, you're doing it wrong. Dat frontal stun is key for Velious soloables.

Right, and AON, but I assume if one went ogre for the stun immun, then you wouldn't give that up for an item, unless what the item gave you was superior to stun imm?

shaman troll better for pve
shaman ogre better for pvp (atleast in dungeons or in smaller scale)

the no frontal stun is very nice but i think the regen will have you enjoy the game more... stacking fungus + aura of battle + innate regen + regowth + sow boots makes for a very annoying target to kill....

quiet honestly you shouldn't be tanking melee even if you can, the risk of getting tstaff proc'd isn't worth it, stay behind, shrink yourself, do heals and support shit, don't go to the front like a retard and then scream about getting d-napped within 10 seconds

another thing is if you ever get an aon you want to be troll, cause in aon illusion your ogre no frontal stun goes away, but the innate regen does not.
