Posting here to start the change instead of in a patch thread full of people complaining about classic changes.

Patch changed Rogue skill Make Poison down to 200 and should currently be capped at 250 at 60 and 200 at 50.

Once above 200 points in one of these skills, no other skill will be able to exceed 200. Specialization restrictions do not include class or race-specific trade skills such as Alchemy, Make Poison, and Tinkering. Players with race or class-specific trade skills will be able to exceed 200 points of skill in that skill, plus any generally available trade skill.

List poisons that trivial above 200, how could that be listed if cap was 200.

200 cap pre-51 (using 5xLVL + 5), 250 cap at 60, pending update.

Thank you for the quick response. What is the current state of the skill level as it pertains to being capped at 200 right now but shown in the color red. It appears like a debuff so I think that means the skill one was previously at is still saved? At least I hope it wasn't reset for those above 200 already.

The code won't do any permanent changes to the skill level you've achieved. If it's over the skill cap in the DB, the code just temporarily caps your skill for whatever calculation the code is doing.

Thanks for responding on this.. I was the one who tried to report the issue in the patch thread but with all the complains about gamma, etc. it was probably lost.
