Trade bug

ok this has happened a couple of times to me now...

I've tried on 2 occasions to trade an item to someone else that was sitting and looking at their spell book. it comes up and says they are busy right now

so they stand up and i try again. only now there is no message and i can't get the trade window up

logging out and back in appeared to fix the issue. I don't know who is bugged because both times we both logged off and on.

I have had similar issues with trade since the last patch. Happens most often when I port someone to Nektulos or Faydark. When we get there they can't initiate a trade with me. I watch them move around and try, it's happened so often that I have a macro that says .. if trade is bugged, use /split. I port folks quite often from EC and have never had a problem with someone trading until after the last patch. Have yet to encounter someone having problems trading with me in EC Tunnel.

The same thing happened to me - twice. In WC tried to pay off a Druid who ported me - he said he was looking at his spellbook and I could not trade with him at all after that.

Next time someone tried to trade with me and I was looking at my spellbook, he could not trade with me, I tried to give him some copper to start the trade and I could not trade with him either. This happened in west fp so I doubt it is a zone thing. Has to be a trade with spellbook open bug.

Happened to me too.

On Sunday I was rezed by a cleric, and when I tried to tip him I got the "busy" message. Someone else was able to trade with him, so we thought I was the bugged one - I camped and came back. Still couldn't trade (now I'm thinking he was the one bugged,but he was only bugged with me?) so I used /split to take care of things.

Unfortunately I couldn't slide the dots I usually offer with the pp into a /split.

I had the same issue last night - Got a port to Tox but could not tip the porter. Had to do /split to pay them...

The person who initiated the trade will be bugged until they camp. Until the next update, it couldnt hurt to '/tt ready for trade?' before attempting.
