Magician/Necromancer pet EXP? Quote from today's patch notes, more information, plz.

I don't suppose this means pets will still have the pet exp penalty associated with them anymore? One can hope, right? :)

reckon that means if you kill one, it won't give you xp even if it cons blue

Dunno what you or that patch note is talking about, but the way I take it is pets won't give players exp when killed.

Was on red last night and rolled an iksar necro for kicks, got XP off a few mobs without stabbing, casting or doing any damage. The pet did 100% of the work, and XP was granted.

Maybe thats not the case now, or maybe killing a player's pet in pvp used to net some XP? I never noticed.

There was a (PVP) section of the patch notes, this wasn't in it. You guys are probably correct though, just got my hopes up, lol. Maybe they mean NPC magicians such as the ones in Najeena?

Or when you have an NPC charmed and a PC nukes down the last bit.

If your pet solos the mob you do get exp You just get a hell of alot less exp if your pet does more than 51% dmg.

I think this has to do with Enchanters soloing with Charm. The Wording is a little vague though.

Pretty sure it's for the PvP server because if your groupmates were in range you could have them kill your pet when it was low on health and you would all get exp. Now you will have to break charm first.
