On Beta Dain is currently chasing down the MT whenever he casts The Dain's Justice.
As seen in this video this behavior did not occur in classic.

I theorize that the aggro mechanic for MOB AI is based more on proximity in classic than on P99 where the agro is a very linear hate list.
