At low hitpoints ( -20% ) he teleports into a corridor on his left. Agros four additional miners.
I am a Shaman so I was using my pet at the time, my pet did not teleport with him, but pathed down the ramp into the corridor to meet him and the four adds.
I noticed pet pathing here to work extremely well.
Also the speed at which mobs in the zone flee at low hitpoints seems extremely fast.
