We just got him before the patch on XEV server. We had 2 groups of 5. One cleric in each group and our main tank was a lvl 57. Our group ranged from 45-57 to give you and idea of how hard he is. Of course the 45 Cleric bit the dust when he was aggro'ed from all the healing and using mod rods. He dropped 2 rouge weapons, Typhoon and meat for the quest. Was alot of fun.
litteraly just took this guy down half hour before the emergancy patch on aug 23 with a throw toghter raid. he hit my ranger (909ac) for nothing over 250. didnt fear and nuked me once for 1k damage (dont think was aoe) was very easy kill. didnt even see him use any special ablities. i went ld about half way though the fight though so not sure if he enrages or not. was an extremlly easy kill. had 3 mabye 4 groups. the bard that tried pulling him intially said she got stuned after every second hit though and didnt take more the 220 in melee damage. and took down another that tried pulling him. we pulled him between the two othmir camps close to the ss zone. he droped 3 daggers and meat. for melee's dont even bother using a defensive disc unless you main tank.

Killed him the other day, loot was Bio Orb, 2 KD Spine Razors, Sea Dragon Meat, Divine Str, Ice Spear of Solist, Can IV, and PoTG
Total Wuss, low range Cold/Magic AE, low hp, total pushover with a good tank, shaman, cleric and a few extras
We dropped him on Veeshan a couple weeks ago with 1 group.
Typhoon, couple scales, Flawless Diamond, couple piercers.
dropped him yesterday (1/17) on mith marr. faction hit is CoV but very small, was still ally after the kill. dropped 3 typhoon swords 1 razor and 1 flawless diamond. think the diamond was the best haul here. guild bank low on bp gems. :P
Dropped him today On VZ...he is way easy.
We had 2 groups and i was second cleric in second group..had 70% mana when i finished...all i had to do was keep the rogues topped up on HP and make sure when he rampaged noone died....no deaths..easy drop.
He dropped his scale, 2 spines, black marble and bio orb. Perhaps he always drops a gem? i dunno..just postulating...asfor the faction hit, i was aly b4 and aly after kill also, so as many have said b4, it probably isnt a big hit. However, the hit on Yelinaks faction is still a bummer, cos its an **** trying to get faction with him.
Killed him today (11/26/01) He dropped 2 cloaks, a couple of spells, a scale, and a Bioluminescent Orb, Seemed way easier than any other dragon i've fought, though my experience is limited to Naggy, Vox, Trak, and a smattering of WW dragons.
I was max ally to CoV at the beginning of the fight, and was still ally after he dropped, so the faction hit can't be too huge. Hope this helps.
